Because of Brent Sipherd's hard work and the amazing engineers we have, MNJHS took first place for the Innovator Award in the Utah Underwater Robotics 2018 ROV Competition.

The staff was very impressed with the engineering of all our student's robots. Students navigated self-built robots through underwater obstacle courses at the Legacy Center in Lehi during the competition. It was a great experience!

Mt. Nebo Jr. High is proud to have received the Energy Star® Certification, in recognition of superior energy performance. Buildings that earn the EPA's Energy Star® use 35% less energy and generate 35% fewer greenhouse emissions than similar buildings across the nation.

Over the last 3 years Nebo School District has issued an Energy Incentive Challenge to the facilities in their boundaries. Energy Star® applications were sent in for 44 facilites and ALL 44 qualified. This is an amazing feat because in order to qualify a building must score in the top 75 percentile compared against other schools in the nation. Our district average was 99, with many schools scoring a perfect 100.

With 44 Energy Star® Certifications earned, Nebo School District has the most certified facilities out of any organization in the state of Utah. Now that's something to celebrate!
