**Parents: Please let us know if you feel that your student may have been missed on our Honor Roll. We are working with a new grading system and some students may have been missed. The requirements were "A" grades in all classes for terms 1, 2, & 3. Please contact the counseling office if we missed your student so that we can make sure we get them recognized.
We're excited to be gearing up for the 2021-2022 school year at Mt Nebo Middle School and wanted to make you aware of a leadership opportunity for you and your student.
Mt Nebo Middle School has an active PTSA (Parent - Teacher - STUDENT - Association) and is looking for leaders for next school year. In our PTSA we have the opportunity to plan and coordinate school activities, service projects, reflections, teacher appreciation, fundraisers, and more. . . . The organization is student-led--parent and teacher supported. PTSA is an excellent opportunity for any student looking to increase their leadership skills and experience, their involvement in the school, and their circle of friends. It's also an incredible opportunity for parents and students to work together in a really rewarding way in the school.
Here's a little video that this year's PTSA leadership put together to invite you to come and join us next year:
To apply to a leadership position, or to be added to our volunteer list so that you will receive future emails and notices about PTSA meetings and events, be sure to fill out this application:
DEADLINE for Leadership positions: Applications will be received through May 31st for all PTSA leadership positions, nominees will be contacted by mid-June and leaders will be officially appointed in our first PTSA meeting this summer.
This week, students at Mt. Nebo Middle School have been celebrating White Ribbon Week. This week is meant to teach students about Internet safety and encourage healthy choices in media and technology. Members of the PTSA created this wonderful video which was shown earlier this week in classes.
