Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Bailee Allred and Zacarias Brizuela for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Bailee was nominated by Mrs. Perkins for being willing to stand in front of a spill so no one would walk through it and helping clean it up.  Zacarias was nominated by Mrs. Stoneman for doing his very best in class each day and working hard on every assignment. 

The Nebo School District Basketball Tournament runs from February 1st-2nd at Springville Jr High and Mapleton Jr High schools. The District Championship will be held on February 6th at Springville High School.

Today's playoff games are as follows:

• MNJHS Girls Basketball: 3:30 PM, Mapleton Jr. High
• MNJHS Boys BAsketball: 3:30PM, Springville Jr. High

Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Steven Ward and Raul Lopez for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Friday, January 26, 2018. Steven was nominated by Mr. Sipherd for helping fellow students with class work. Raul was nominated by Mrs. Solorzano for being willing to help other students with sight words.

Our FFA members at Mt. Nebo Jr. competed at the Utah FFA Area V State Qualifying Leadership Events. Our Conduct of Chapter Meetings team placed 1st and will be competing at State in March. They beat the team that won state last year, so this is a major accomplishment. Team members include Bailey Franson, Maddie DeHart, Eli Evans, Darian Pieper, Aidan Evans, JayLea Isaac, and Jourdyn Cardon.

Darian Pieper and Maddie DeHart also competed in the FFA Creed Event. Maddie placed first and will also be competing at state in the FFA Creed. The Utah FFA State Convention is held in Cedar City.
