Congratulations to Jarom Harris for receiving the Mayor’s Award during the February City Council meeting. He was recognized with other great students from Payson Junior High and Payson High School.

This last Saturday our chess team competed at the Nebo District Chess Tournament. Nate Jeffery, Isaac Poulson and Taydon Carlson all received medals of participation. Sarah Thomson took 11th place in the junior high division and team captain Mason Lindstrom took 5th place in the junior high division. We want to congratulate these young men and women on their performance. The state chess tournament is coming up within the next few weeks. If you are interested in participating in the state chess tournament please contract Mr. Wright or Mr. McFarland as soon as possible.
