Mt Nebo Middle School Shines at Utah State Underwater Robotics Competition
We are incredibly proud of our 12 brilliant Underwater Robotics teams who represented Mt Nebo Middle School at the Utah State Underwater Robotics competition. Their dedication and ingenuity were truly on display as they tackled challenging tasks with their innovative, three-person engineered robotics. Each team was tasked with creatively designing and operating robots to clean algae off turtles and remove debris from the ocean floor—an authentic testament to their engineering prowess.
In addition to the hands-on tasks, our students showcased their understanding of the engineering process through detailed posters, illustrating the journey from concept to creation. This visual documentation highlighted the meticulous care and creativity each team invested in their projects.
Mt Nebo Middle School has a proud tradition of excellence in this competition, spanning over seven years. This year was no exception, with our teams continuing to excel. A special congratulations goes to Hudson Troyer, Olive Hansen, and Aiden Brown, who secured an impressive 3rd place in the Masters Division. Their achievement is a testament to their hard work and innovative spirit.
We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating teams for their stellar representation of our school. Their efforts not only earned them respect and admiration but also a fun reward—winning all the donuts for their cleanup efforts! Thank you all for upholding the tradition of excellence at Mt Nebo Middle School. Your creativity and dedication make us proud every year.
