Our Mt. Nebo Middle School choir students put on a Christmas Choir concert. The students did a fantastic job showing off their hard work and preparations to family and friends. Many great Christmas songs were performed, and each rotation group performed "Silent Night" in German. Mrs. Jacobsen does an exceptional job with our choir students!

The Mt. Nebo Food Drive has kicked off and is in full swing! It will run from Wednesday, Dec. 8th until Friday Dec. 17th. 4th period classes are competing against each other for prizes, but most importantly, the pride of being the class that donated most. What a perfect way to help those in need this holiday season!

Scoring for the food drive is as follows:

1 can = 1 point

1 package of ramen noodles = 1 point

1 diaper = 1 point

1 roll of toilet paper =  1 point

$1 = 10 points

Our school goal is 15,000 points!

The food bank welcomes any non-perishable food items that are in good condition and store bought (not home canned).  The food bank especially needs:

-Canned Soups With Meat    -Canned Fruits

 -Canned Meats     -Canned Vegetables

 -Toothbrushes and Paste       -Toilet Paper

 -Soap and Shampoo         -Baby Diapers

 -Baby Formula     -Canned Beans

 -Ramen Noodles   -Macaroni and Cheese

In addition to the traditional food items, the Utah Valley Emergency Food Bank is encouraging cash donations.  Their food connections allow them to purchase more food dollar per dollar than we can as retail customers.  Because of this, a $1 donation to this year’s food drive will count as the equivalent of 10 food items donated. (Cash and check donations should be given directly to the front office, not to 4th period teachers)

This term’s parent teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, December 2, from 3:30-7 pm.

In an effort to avoid long lines and waiting to speak to your student's teachers, they are creating videos explaining what they are currently doing in class and answering frequently asked questions.

If, after watching the videos, you still have questions, you are welcome to email our teachers or come in to visit face-to-face. Please take this time to celebrate all the achievements and progress your student is making. Link to teacher videos (more are being added).
