Here's to our Climbers of the Week! Faculty and staff have been nominating students for this recognition. We will be featuring one student from each pod (both morning and afternoon). Check back often to see who has received this award!

Sophie is part of the morning Denali pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Olson, "She is working REALLY hard to understand Math."

Cole is a member of the afternoon Denali pod. He was nominated by Mr. Hunt, "Cole is one of the most polite kids I've ever met. Even though art isn't his favorite, he always put 100% effort into his work and is a great example to his classmates."

Brian is representing the morning Everest pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Wettstein, "He always helps pump up the tires in our cycling class. This has been a huge help in class, and it gives everyone more time to ride the bikes!"

Thayne is from the afternoon Everest pod. He was nominated by Mr. Hunt, “When we first started school and I asked Thayne what kind of art he liked, he told me he didn't like art that much. Even though he is not really interested, he puts in extra effort to make his art look good, and has become a great artist. He is not afraid to ask how he can make his work better, and doesn't get upset when he is corrected. I have really enjoyed having him in class.”

Rilla is part of the morning Vinson pod. She was nominated by Ms. Allred, “Rilla was out for two weeks and managed to stay caught up with the rest of her class. She has a great attitude and willingly participates in class.”

Tosh is a member of the afternoon Vinson pod. He was nominated by Ms. Allred, “Tosh is always there to help. Whether is it answering questions, holding the door for others, cleaning up, or turning on the lights. He has a positive attitude and enjoys participating in class.”
