Let's give a shout out to these amazing students! They were nominated by faculty and staff for exemplifying what it means to be a Mt. Nebo Middle School Panther.

Ben is a member of the afternoon Denali pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Nielson, "Always polite and friendly to others!  He was extra kind to me and made my day!!”

Lincoln is representing the morning Everest pod. He was nominated by Ms. Hailstone, "He always holds the doors for everyone after a mask break without me ever asking him to.”

Izick is from the afternoon Everest pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Pehrson, “Izick noticed some of his grades were not what he wanted and made the choice to come early to school and work with those teachers to improve his grades. He works hard and wants his grades to show the great dedication he has for learning.”

Liam is part of the morning Vinson pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Jarrett, “Liam walks table to table every day during lunch picking up trays and trash. He works really hard at being responsible and keeping the lunchroom orderly”

Evie is a member of the afternoon Vinson pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Depew, “Evie is always so helpful and caring.  She always has a smile on her face.  She has been a great help to one of her friends that has an injured arm.  She carried her lunch tray for weeks while her friend had a cast on.  She knows how to be an amazing student and is a great example to her classmates.”

Gabe is representing the morning Aconcagua pod. He was nominated by Mr. Ledesma, “Gabe is an outstanding example to his classmates. He is always ready to answer questions in front of the class and is not intimidated when I call on him. I know Gabe is always prepared when he steps into my classroom.”

Ben is from the afternoon Aconcagua pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Capell, “Ben works hard at everything he does in math class. He is kind and helpful to others and is always willing to try again. Even when he struggles, he tries and tries again until he is top dog.”

Jace is a member of the morning Kilimanjaro pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Brown, “Jace was absent for a few days, but he always looks on canvas and does his assignments instead of waiting to ask me what we did when he returns.”

Jesus is part of the afternoon Kilimanjaro pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Miller, “Jesus is a helper.  When students struggle with the instructions, Jesus explains in ways they understand.  He is patient and kind with them, no matter how many times they need help.”

Payden is from the morning Matterhorn pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Luckau, “Payden consistently seeks to understand. When he does not understand, he asks questions and makes an extra effort to find answers.”

Addie is representing the afternoon Matterhorn pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Luckau, “Addie is a very diligent student. I can always count on Addie to be on task. She works well individually and in her group. When Addie is absent, she makes up her work quickly. I love having Addie in my class!”
