CCA students have been making water slides - - the project gave students to work on their communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. Students were given a scenario to build a mock water slide for the (also mock) Santaquin Swim and Slide water park. They had to keep between 10 X 16 inch base, could not be taller than 3' and had to include curves and a funnel. It also needed to have a 4 rider capacity - meaning 4 riders had to be on the track at the same time but not hitting each other. It was a great way to practice these crucial workplace skills.
