Battle of the Books!

On Tuesday, February, 22nd the Battle of the Books competition was held at Mt. Nebo Middle. Several teams of students competed against each other by answering questions about a list of 20 different books. Thank you to all those students who participated and thank you to all of the hard work by our librarian Mrs. Reber to make it all happen!

Our top 2 teams of the competition were (Pictured):

1st place:

Griffindor Snitches: Vance Lillywhite, Asher Faust, Tyson Durfee, Dawson Southwick

2nd Place: 

Majestik Pretty Dwarf Feet: Paisley Bishop, Avery Zeeman, Ava White, Elizabeth Masterson

Parent Teacher Conference Videos are Available

Parent-teacher conferences will be held Thursday, February 17, from 3:30-7PM in the gyms. Teachers will be available for individual conferences. If you prefer not to attend or are unable, check out this link with videos from your student's teachers. Please email them regarding any questions or concerns you may have.

Las conferencias de padres y maestros se llevarán a cabo el jueves 17 de febrero de 3:30 p. m. a 7 p. m. en los gimnasios. Los maestros estarán disponibles para conferencias individuales. Barbershop Quartet Choir Visit

Mrs. Jacobsen's choir students were able to enjoy a visit from a barbershop quartet group. The group performed many different songs from various genres, and even invited Mrs. Jacobsen up to perform with them as well.

Here are the Climbers of the Week for Jan 31st - Feb. 4th. Students are nominated by teachers for working hard in class, helping others, having a good attitude, etc.

Congratulations to all!

Hunter McMurdie: Being an excellent student. He always turns assignments in on time, contributes to discussions, and has a happy attitude!

Rebekah Tanner: Being a stellar student and friend to others. She has an excellent attitude and is always engaged in lessons and labs!

Haylee Young: Being a cheerful, kind, and caring young lady!

Colter West: Being one of the coolest kids I know! He always has a positive attitude and brings kindness with him each day!

Blake Martinez-Crawford: Working hard in math class to understand concepts!

Chase Youd: Being an excellent student! He participates and works hard to understand and complete math assignments!

Brooklyn Shirley: Being helpful and friendly to all of her classmates!

Jessie Pittman: Being kind to others, working hard, and being creative!

Evie Robinson: Being very kind and respectful. She gets her work done and is willing to help others!
