Congratulations to our student Climbers of the Week! Thank you for your wonderful examples!

 Anna is part of the morning Denali pod. She was nominated by Mr. Hunt, "Anna is always happy and positive. She likes to smile, and you can see it even with her mask on. I appreciate how hard she works in art, and how positive and upbeat she is every day, even when she is not enjoying the project. She has such a fun personality as well. Everyone needs an Anna in their life.”

 Mackinzey is a member of the afternoon Denali pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Davis, "Mackinzey is always cheerful, does her work without complaining and is kind to everyone around her! She is a great student and I love having her in my class!

 

 Thomas is representing the morning Everest pod. He was nominated by Ms. Muhlestein, "Tommy stopped to help pick up a table that was blocking the way in the hallway, even when all of the other students just walked around it. Thanks for being so helpful and such a great example of serving others!”

 Autumn is from the afternoon Everest pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Bennett, “She is such a happy positive person and always eager to help out in the front office with whatever task is available!”

 Piper is part of the morning Vinson pod. She was nominated by Mr. Ledesma, “Piper's determination to learn Spanish is admirable. She is taking notes in class often on subjects that I don't require notes for. Piper pushes me to be a better teacher with her thoughtful questions and loving personality.”

 Will is a member of the afternoon Vinson pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Dean, “Will is a leader and other students look up to him--literally and figuratively. His genuine kindness is clear in his interactions with all of his classmates and friends. Will is also a great student and a hard worker. He is patient and helpful as he teaches his classmates who are struggling.”

 Chance is representing the morning Aconcagua pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Hanks, “Chance is a bright and helpful student. He always completes his assignments, asks questions when he has them, and is a great example to others in his class.”

 Koen is from the afternoon Aconcagua pod. He was nominated by Mrs. Franco, “Koen loves to come in after school to practice and is always respectful. He has offered to help clean up the room. He loves learning and trying new things. Koen is a great example to his peers!”

 Alma is a member of the morning Kilimanjaro pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Miller, “Alma is a stellar student.  She's been absent and hasn't missed a beat.  She really stays on top of the work. She's not afraid to show that she's intelligent which sets an example for all to follow.  She is respectful and resourceful. She is amazing!”

 Sophie is part of the afternoon Kilimanjaro pod. She was nominated by Mr. Mendenhall, “Sophie is such a great learner.  She is always engaged in class.  What makes her stand out is her friendliness to everyone in the class- she knows all of their names. She never complains and always has great input to the lesson on hand.”

 Lyndi is from the morning Matterhorn pod. She was nominated by Mrs. Luckau, “Lyndi is a cheerful person. She regularly says hello and often asks some of her teachers if they need help before or after school. During class, she is willing to try what we are doing and share her ideas. It is great to have students like Lyndi in class!”

 Lisa is representing the afternoon Matterhorn pod. She was nominated by Mr. McFarland, “Lisa is kind, respectful, and eager to participate. She loves helping other people in class. Her smile and her positive attitude brighten the classroom everyday.”
