Kylee Ewell – 9TH GRADE

Mt. Nebo Jr. High School

Kylee Ewell, a 9th grade student at Mt. Nebo Jr. High, has been nominated to receive the Payson City’s Mayor’s Award for the month of December.

One of Kylee’s teachers wrote that “Kylee is a great leader and is very active in school and community activities.  She works hard on her clogging team, as well as on the basketball team.  She is always looking for ways to better the environment around her.  Kylee is a great student in the classroom and truly stands out as an example to others.”

“Kylee is one of the most pleasant people I have ever met.  She was very professional in the office as an aide and was always happy to do whatever was needed.  It would be great if we could clone her!!

“I have Kylee first period.  Though she is soft spoken, she is a very hard worker and excellent student.  Today I observed her helping the members of her group understand the questions on the assignment.  Though soft spoken she has a voice that speaks to caring and helping others while holding a high standard for herself.

Several teachers spoke of Kylee’s respectfulness in class and that she always turns her work in within a timely manner.  Kylee is on the honor roll at Mt. Nebo Jr. High.

Another teacher wrote “Kylee is a wonderful person, the type of person that I hope my daughters grow up to be.  She is so respectful in class and always does her work.  She is so intelligent.  But the best part is that she is the only one I her class that would actually laugh and think that my lame jokes are funny.  Thank you Kylee!”

Kylee is one of the great students walking the halls of Mt. Nebo Junior, and we believe that she is very deserving of this award.

Congratulations Kylee!
