Free Parent Education Night

Nebo School District welcomes Joe Hendershott on September 16, 2019, 7 PM, and Salem Hills High School. In 2006, Dr. Hendershott co-founded Hope 4 The Wounded, LLC, with his wife Dardi. He is a keynote speaker at various conferences and conducts professional development across the Nation on the effects of trauma on learning and behavior.

Dr. Hendershott has authored two books, Reaching the Wounded Student (Eye on Education, 2008) and 7 Ways to Transform the Lives of Wounded Students (Routledge/Taylor & Francis, 2016). Joe and his wife Dardi have nine children and have been licensed foster/adoptive parents. They love being involved in their community and being their kids’ biggest fans! Joe also enjoys being outdoors, running, and playing guitar. He also has a Black Belt in Karate.

School starts TOMORROW!!! We have some exciting changes coming our way in terms of drop off and pick up areas. The red area on the map is existing and construction on the orange area starts soon! Remember that the yellow area is for buses ONLY during drop off and pick up times. School starts at 8 AM!

7th Grade Day was a success! Mr. McGuire shared our collective commitment: "It does not matter which teacher you have at our school, if you need extra time and support to learn at high levels, we guarantee you will receive it.” We're excited to see ALL grades on Monday, August 19, beginning at 8 AM!

This year's Open House will be Thursday, August 15, from 1-4 PM. Come check out our updated library and visit with our new librarian, Mrs. Olson!

This is also great time to walk the halls to find your classes, meet your teachers, find your locker, and practice opening it a few times. We hope to see you there!
