It's been a great year at Mt. Nebo Jr High!  We've laughed, cried, struggled, succeeded and overcome.  Thank you to all our amazing students, parents, teachers, staff and administration for all your hard work and support.

Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Mak Rohde and Tyler Coy for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Friday, May 18, 2018. Mak was nominated by Mrs. Ewell for helping to keep our school looking good. Tyler was nominated by Mr. Call for working hard to get organized.

Congratulations to the MNJHS Boys Track Team on taking first place at the Nebo District track finals!  This is Mt Nebo's fourth track championship!  Our Boys Medley Relay Team, consisting of Justin Nixon, Kason Stinson, Lukas Boswell, and Colby Orton even set a new Nebo District Record of 3:58:53.

• Boys 800 Meters - Colby Orton, 1st place NEW SCHOOL RECORD
• Boys 1600 Meters JV - Levi Lyman, 3rd place

Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Trynitte Nixon and Kailee Richman for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Trynitte was nominated by Mr. McFarland for being willing to help out and learn new things. Kailee was nominated by Mrs. Reber for being a great Honor Society presidency member.

Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Josh Dunn and Samantha McFarland for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Josh was nominated by Mr. McFarland for being positive, helpful, and friendly. Samantha was nominated by Mrs. Reber for being cheerful and fun to be around in class.

Rosie was nominated by Mrs. Stewart for being an outstanding TA and for always having interesting comments in class. Alex was nominated by Mrs. Stewart for always being respectful and helping others in class.

Student Awards Assembly

We are holding our annual Awards Assembly on Monday, May 21 in the auxiliary gym. Every student receiving an award will be given an invitation on Friday (May 18^th).  Parents of students receiving an award may attend the ceremony.  Please check with your student to see if they received an invite.  The tentative times for the Awards Assemblies are as follows:

-7th graders - 8:05 am (Begin Time)

-8th graders - 8:55 am (Begin Time)

-9th graders - 9:40 am (Begin Time)

Eden was nominated by Mrs. Stewart for always participating in class and being kind and respectful to others. Brykelle was nominated by Mrs. Hanks for completing assignments thoughtfully and early.

Hear the ROAR! A Panther is: RESPECTFUL, OUTSTANDING, ACADEMIC and RESPONSIBLE! Congratulations to Mathew Hunt and Ivonne Duenas for being nominated as our MNJHS Panthers of the Day on Friday, May 11, 2018. Mathew was nominated by Mrs. Nielson for bringing homework to the office which a student dropped in the hallway. Ivonne was nominated by Mrs. Barker for always sharing her ideas in class and being so friendly.

Cristian was nominated by Mr. Robinson for being a kind, polite and respectful student. Cole was nominated by Mr. Rather for his excellent performance in Wood Shop.
