Oakley was nominated for having an awesome sense of humor.  Samantha was nominated for helping other students understand the homework.

Gage was was nominated for being a peacemaker and helping out when needed.  McKenna was nominated for being a great friend to everyone.

Nebo Captains Academy Spring Session - Go MNJHS!

Nebo School District recently held its third quarterly Captains Academy Spring Session on leadership and sportsmanship. The Captains Academy is held three times a year. Held in the boardroom at Nebo School District, the academy included Captains from each spring sport: baseball, softball, boys’ and girls’ track and field, boys’ soccer, girls’ golf, and boys’ tennis.  All of Nebo District junior high and high schools were represented including Springville High, Maple Mountain High, Spanish Fork High, Salem Hills High, Payson High, Springville Junior, Mapleton Junior, Diamond Fork Junior, Spanish Fork Junior, Salem Junior, Mt. Nebo Junior, and Payson Junior.  Students who attend the academy have the opportunity to learn valuable sportsmanship and leadership skills which they then share with their teams.

 Our participating captains were:

Luke Macdonald - Tennis

Bryant Giles - Tennis

Angelyna was nominated for being the first to pass off her music.  Salvador was nominated for giving a great compliment and being kind.

Jacob was nominated for creating some amazing art.  Mandy was nominated for always pushing herself to be the best she can be.

The Lion King - Get Your Tickets TODAY!!!

HAKUNA MATATA!!!!  MNJHS Theatre Productions presents The Lion King Jr.!

The show will run March 29th through April 1st.  Matinees and nightly showings will be available.

  • Nightly 7PM, Saturday Matinee 2PM.
  • You can purchase your tickets online through the school, in the front office with Mrs. Wilson, or at the door.

Concessions and Break-A-Leg O'Grams available before the show and during intermission. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see our students shine on stage.  They have worked hard to prepare for the performance and it will be one you surely don't want to miss.

Performed at the Payson High School Auditorium, 1050 South Main Street.

Brennen was nominated for being super dependable, always positive, and fun to be around.  Thomas was nominated for realizing how awesome it is to get work done and get good grades.
