Our MNJHS LIA, Latinos In Action, held an awesome fundraiser for Primary Children's Hospital on Dec. 16th.  They hosted a Face-Off with Payson Jr High's LIA in basketball and indoor soccer games at Mt. Nebo Jr. High.  Authentic tamales, elotes (street corn), and champurrado (hot chocolate) were sold at the event.

The LIA students had a great time supporting a local hospital.  Their goal was to do something nice during this season of giving.  Over $560.00 was raised and given to the hospital.  WAY TO GO MNJHS LIA!

Our discovery coding class is excited to share with their parents and families what they are learning with these robots. Our Discovery Showcase Night is January 11, 2017. School may be out for Christmas break when the bell rings today, but we have one last game to play before we go!  Head on over to MNJHS for some great home game basketball court action.  We will be playing Springville Junior High School.  And, as always, don't forget to sign in for tardy credit with Mrs. Ewell or an administrator at the game.

MNJHS was proud to help make and donate blankets for the Huntsman Cancer Institute.  Our students worked hard to provide comfort to those suffering with this terrible disease.  MNJHS joined several other Nebo School District junior high schools to donate over 200 blankets.  A note was attached to each blanket wishing patients luck.  Nan Davis, of Springville Jr. High, spearheaded the project.
